Cruising Resumes in June 2021
Going on a cruise is an excellent and memorable way to enjoy vacations with your family and friends. It is an all-inclusive way to enjoy a fantastic trip including accommodations, food, daytime and evening entertainment, etc. Many people choose cruises because they offer great value and a family-friendly atmosphere. Cruising is also great for romance, reunions, and simply new experiences.
Unfortunately, the cruise industry felt the direct impact of Covid-19. This led to 2,500 jobs being lost every day because they had to stop operating. The Covid-19 virus can spread in any social setting especially where people gather to enjoy shared experiences, including hotels, restaurants, movie theaters, and cruise ships.
When the time is right for cruise companies to resume their full operations safely, it will become an essential contributor to fueling more economic and societal recovery. The world is getting back to normalcy and businesses are opening thanks to the vaccination campaigns. The same is true for the cruise industry as many cruise companies attempt to resume operations in June 2021.
Celebrity Cruises (owned by Royal Caribbean)
The Celebrity Millennium is one of the most popular cruise ship companies that resumed its operations from St. Maarten on June 5, 2021. Looking ahead, the Celebrity Apex will sail from Athens on June 19. Other destinations from this company will launch in July, August, and September.
Celestyal Cruises
Celestyal Cruises is another popular cruise company that resumed operations on June 12, 2021. Some of the company ships will sail on June 28 from Piraeus, Greece. It is important to know that Celestyal cruises do not require vaccination.

Lindblad Expeditions
Lindblad Expeditions reported that it would restart cruising services in June and July. The ship known as the National Geographic Explorer will offer sailing adventures across Iceland on July 7. Bear in mind that the National Geographic Quest and Venture launched cruises from Alaska on June 5 and June 6, 2021. In addition, Galapagos cruises by the National Geographic Endeavour II resumed operations on June 4.
Royal Caribbean International
It is one of the most popular cruising companies that offer excellent services worldwide. The company re-launched cruises from Nassau, Bahamas, on June 12, 2021. Because there is much work to do, Royal Caribbean International says that it will launch the Jewel of Seas from Limassol, Cyprus, to Greek Islands on July 12.
