List of Banned Destinations for Unvaccinated 

The travel scenarios have confused millions of people worldwide due to the locking and unlocking of countries’ borders as they make efforts to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. It is crucial to keep an eye on updates to rules regarding travel and tourism so you can plan your trip accordingly. 

While some countries have strict rules requiring travelers to spend at least two weeks in quarantine, others have entirely banned unvaccinated tourists (as of 7/24/21). 

The purpose is to protect the country’s citizens from getting infected with the novel coronavirus, also known as SARS-CoV-2, and its variants.

Moreover, Canada is another county that had closed its land and air borders for unvaccinated tourists. The Canadian government has established strict policies regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and traveling. 

Update: If you are a vaccinated U.S. citizen, you are allowed to enter Canada AS OF August 9, 2021.
